People For Animals Durg-Bhilai Unit II is a Non-Governmental organization working towards the welfare of stray animals. We rescue, treat, care for, release, and get homeless animals adopted. Our dedicated team of volunteers along with the conscientious citizens of the twin cities help us grow and reach out to more animals in need.

We aim to

Provide timely rescues to animals in need.

Instil a regard for the stray animals and reduce human-animal conflicts.

Community outreach to educate the city dwellers about our environment and how to enrich it.

PFA Durg-Bhilai Unit II was founded by Dr. Dharamveer Chandrakar and Ms. Aanchal Dani in 2017, under the nationwide initiative of Ms. Maneka Gandhi.

Since its inception, the organisation has engaged in many rescues and outreach programs. Through the years, we have engaged in sterilization projects, cruelty rescues. community outreach and many more aspects of animal welfare. Till Now We have rescued more than 2500 Injured & Sick Street Animals, 1000+ Animals Vaccinated & 2000+ Strays being fed under Feeding Program

Animals face so many atrocities at the hands of humans. They are abandoned, left starving, and even abused and injured. Many consider them a nuisance when they bark helplessly or make their way to our compounds looking for even a little bit of food. And this is the story of countless stray animals in India.
